I learned that when business owners focus on this simple principle, clients tend to come back for more: It’s called Consistency!
5 minute podcast by Eric ThomasWhen we are consistent with our word, our message and even our marketing material we stand a chance to succeed; brands that are consistent are 10X more memorable in the client’s mind.
As a business owner you want to explore what consistency looks like from the experience point of view, for example:
Could you imagine walking into a Starbucks or your favorite coffee house and getting a total but not very pleasant experience everytime you walk in?
Well, that’s exactly how your client might feel like when there are no patterns, values, and processes in place. From a marketing and brand consistency point of view, if your website, your logo, and your marketing material does not show consistency then you are creating a not-so-memorable experience for customers that might be looking to hire your services.
Ultimately, you want your customers to browse around your business and remember graphically who you are.
A few questions to consider:
- Does my business hold a strong brand message?
- What is my promise to clients?
- Have I been consistent in delivering the type of service my clients have asked for?
I’m curious to hear what you think and to learn from you, simply hit reply to strike a conversation about this key principle.
